We are currently looking for a postdoctoral researcher to join the Language Biomarker Lab at Emory University. This position is part of the international AMP SCZ initiative and focuses on identifying language-based indicators of psychosis across diverse linguistic and cultural contexts. The role involves developing experimental paradigms using multimodal data—including language, facial expressions, and vocal traits—and leveraging GPU clusters to train large language models for early detection of psychosis.

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join Emory’s Language Biomarker Lab, where we use AI and NLP to study psychosis, depression, and Alzheimer’s. You’ll design and maintain scalable data pipelines, NLP tools, and APIs for a 42-site international research project. The role includes containerizing workflows, managing Linux systems, and supporting integration of linguistic and neuroimaging data. Strong skills in Python, Bash, Git, and system administration are required. Experience with Docker, web frameworks, or neuroscience is a plus.
